NASA Display During White House Halloween Celebration

This photograph of trick-or-treaters and their families admiring an extravehicular activity space suit and other items from a display by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) was taken during a Halloween celebration at the White House by Matthew D'Agostino for the White House Historical Association on October 28, 2019. For President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump's third Halloween at the White House, local schoolchildren and military families were invited to take part in trick-or-treating and other family-friendly activities on the South Grounds, including the NASA display, photo opportunities courtesy of the Department of Labor and the Department of Education, and the chance to check out unusual vehicles such as a tractor from the Department of Agriculture, a postal truck from the United States Postal Service, and the presidential limo, popularly known as "the Beast."
